art, Prints, work in progress

For four years I lived in a one bedroom apartment/shack with no space for a studio–I used my kitchen drawers to store my tools and art supplies, filled my closet full of paper, and dreamt of big open countertops with drawers and hooks and storage. My workspace consisted of one much abused thrift store coffee table and a drafting lamp.

But now, no longer a college student, I live in a much snazzier place complete with a garage, and that garage came with the most beautiful little workbench. Outfitted with my drafting lamp and a glorious old lab chair I found at OSU surplus, it’s the comfiest little studio I could ask for.
